Landmark Sleep / Information

Privacy Policy

How Landmark Sleep reads Apple Health data and handles information from this website.

The short version

Landmark Sleep reads your overnight data from Apple Health on your iPhone. The app has no account, no Landmark server and no analytics. Your health readings are not sent to us.

Who this policy is from

This policy describes the Landmark Sleep iOS app and this website. It is published by Smashing Labs LLC. Questions can be sent to support@landmarkhabits.com.

What the app reads

With your permission, Landmark Sleep reads sleep analysis, heart rate, heart rate variability (SDNN), blood oxygen, respiratory rate, resting heart rate, sleeping wrist temperature and breathing disturbances from Apple Health. It uses these readings to show last night, compare values with up to 30 earlier nights, and draw the stage timeline. It reads up to 31 nights from a 45-day lookback.

The app requests read access only. It never writes to Apple Health. You choose access by data type and can revoke it in Apple Health at any time.

Where your data stays

The readings and calculations stay on your iPhone. Landmark Sleep has no account or server that receives them. It does not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs in the app. We do not sell health data or use it for advertising.

Deleting the app removes its local app data. Your original Apple Health records remain under your control in the Health app. Revoking permission stops future reads; deleting the app removes the app's own data.
